Arquitetura e Design: Biblioteca urbana paramétrica

O projeto em madeira de Downtown studio para uma biblioteca urbana na Bulgária é uma proposta que aborda as ferramentas do projeto paramétrico na construção de estruturas leves, resistentes e transportáveis. O projeto, uma forma natural ondulada que se desenvolve em um semicírculo, é construída por uma série de módulos de madeira que proporcionam um espaço público com estantes para expor e compartilhar livros. Hoje em dia a vida dos jovens está quase completamente baseada na era digital, diminuindo a popularidade dos livros nessa geração. Uma equipe de arquitetos e designers (Yuzdzhan Turgaev, Boyan Simeonov, Ibrim Asanov e Mariya Aleksieva) decidiram fazer o possível para resolver parcialmente esse problema mediante a construção de uma biblioteca pública. Varna é uma cidade situada na costa e chamada da “capital litorânea da Bulgária”. Essa é a principal razão pela qual a forma do conceito eleito da biblioteca se assemelha à carapaça de um caracol do mar. O projeto foi inspirado pela natureza e suas formas orgânicas. A instalação leva em consideração os aspectos mais importantes da identidade da cidade: o mar e seu valor para os cidadãos de Varna. A construção abstrata se desenrola de um só ponto focal para um semi-círculo enquanto cria um espaço público ao mesmo tempo que estantes para livros. “Rapana” foi projetado utilizando as ferramentas de projeto paramétrico Rhinoceros 3D e Grasshopper, que possibilitam aos arquitetos provar diferentes formas e variações. Usando o software, a equipe testou mais de 20 variações, mudando a quantidade de peças de madeira verticais e horizontais, seu comprimento e altura. Finalizou-se com um projeto final, ajustando o orçamento e o conceito da biblioteca aberta, proporcionando um fácil acesso para os leitores, espaços para sentar, além de um pequeno cenário para artistas de rua e uma sala de aula.   Fonte: ArchDaily]]>
